How To Be A Thriving Artist

I went to a free workshop at the Berkeley Public Library and was inspired to find ways to live the life I really want as a creative person.

Ann Rea is an artist who got tired of sitting in her cubical at a job she did not enjoy. She took her business experience and applied it to her own life. She was able to find an untapped market for her art instead of using a gallery or agent. She did not like the feeling of exploitation and desperation that comes with giving away so much of the profit to a gallery or art agent anddecided to cut out the middle man. Now she makes her living selling her paintings and teaching others how to live as successful artists.
